Banquet Policies

• It is our policy to consider all prospective bookings tentative until a deposit is received by The River Oaks Clubhouse Restaurant. This non-refundable deposit will be noted on a contract that will be signed by the banquet customer and a representative of River Oaks. All food and beverage selections must be chosen no later then thirty days prior to the banquet date. A final count will be due no later then 10 days in advance of the event. This shall be the guaranteed minimum.
• Payment is due no later then 9:00 pm the day of the event. All services must be paid in full. All tax exempt organizations must furnish a tax exemption certificate no later then the day of the function.
• All prices in this banquet menu do not reflect tax and gratuity. Please add local sales tax and 18% service charges to all prices.
• River Oaks maintains compliance with the New York State Liquor Authority. We cannot service alcoholic beverages to any person under the age of 21.
* River Oaks will not be responsible for articles, merchandise, or personal property left on the property during or after a function.
• You may arrange for your own entertainment for your event with prior approval. Management reserves the right to limit the volume of your entertainment to acceptable levels and hours. Due to the Town of Grand Island noise ordinance, all musical entertainment must end no later then 11:00pm. Any special requirements for receiving or setting up displays, decorations, floral arrangements, computers, etc., should be discussed with management in advance. No material or decorations may be attached to walls or wood trim by nails, pins, staples, tape, or glue. Confetti, glitter, and birdseed are not permitted.
• No alcohol of any kind is allowed to be brought into the restaurant under any circumstance. Cakes and desserts may be brought in upon management approval.
* We accept Visa, Master Card, and American Express. River Oaks will charge a $100.00 fee on all returned checks.
* Beef products on all Banquets will be cooked to a Medium Temperature.
• Proper dress is required at all times at the discretion of management.
